QuoteBit is developed and maintained by SmartWhale Technologies, an independent software company based in India.

QuoteBit does not require an account, email address, or any personal information. You open the app and start using it immediately.
All data in the app is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. This includes your custom quotes, favorites, wallpaper preferences, and app settings. None of this data is transmitted to any server.
The "My Quotes" feature lets you write and save your own quotes. We take the privacy of this user-generated content especially seriously because it may reflect personal thoughts, feelings, or creative expression.
When you save a quote as a wallpaper or share it, the image is generated locally on your device. The text content is never sent to any external service for rendering.
When you save a quote image to your gallery or set it as a wallpaper:
The free version of QuoteBit shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information including advertising ID, IP address, and device identifiers to serve relevant ads. SmartWhale Technologies does not receive or store any of this data.

Used only when you tap "Set as Wallpaper" in the app. QuoteBit cannot change your wallpaper without your explicit action. No background wallpaper changes occur. |
Note: QuoteBit does NOT request WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. Images are saved using Android's MediaStore API (scoped storage), which is the modern, privacy-respecting approach for Android 10 and above.

We will update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes. Significant changes will be noted in the app's Play Store update release notes. Continued use of QuoteBit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
